BsnTech Networks provides redundant hosting between two co-located servers in Illinois. The servers have replication between them that takes place once few minutes to ensure they are both synchronized with any recent changes. As you may have noticed below, a script is run on the BsnTech Networks website that shows which server you are pulling web pages from. This can be a feature of hosted websites in order to aid in troubleshooting any website or scripting issues. The two servers run on the Linux Operating System as opposed to using Windows systems. Additional servers may be added for future expansion, but currently all applications are working efficiently on two servers.
Regular website hosting is our specialty. We have the services available to support the majority of our customer's requirements including e-mail and database hosting. Due to our network presence, we only provide hosting on servers that are shared with other websites. In other words, we do not offer dedicated servers for one customer. However, the websites and back-end database we host are replicated across two servers. This allows for a high level of redundancy and "up-time" ensuring that your website is available during most conditions. This also aids in load balancing customer visits as it divides the number of visitors between the two servers.
Through years of experience, we have generally hosted the websites which we build and design for customers. We are the one-stop shop for website support, design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and hosting. Because we do not host or maintain hundreds of sites like big companies, we have a close relationship with our clients. Anytime one of our clients has a problem, they call us directly or speak to us over the Internet using Instant Messenger applications to resolve any problems immediately; whether it be a simple website update or a larger problem.
We will not provide hosting to individuals looking to offload a large number of sizable files for others to access and download. This is too much of a burden on our internet connections and therefore is prohibited. These types of files include music and video files. Therefore, we only will host regular personal or small-business websites; not websites with a repository of large files that are downloaded continuously throughout the day.
While our costs may be a little higher than the majority of other hosting companies, this is because of the great customer service you receive with our hosting and other services. Many customers simply want someone else to take care of their website for them and be in charge of the full picture. There is no better way to go than personally know the company who designs and hosts the website - as they know the goals and infrastructure from startup until shutdown of the website.
